Amy Poehler’s Yes Please

My guilty pleasure is celebrity written books. Especially by comedians. A couple summers back, I was a dresser for the musical South Pacific and a cast member, Matt, gifted me the book Bossypants by Tina Fey. I loved it. I sat backstage and laughed my way through that book. So, I decided to read Tina’s “comedy wife’s” book and there were moments where I was actually laughing out loud. The best part is a letter that Amy writes to the staff at the hospital before giving birth to her son. All of the messages in these celebrity books are pretty much the same, but the comedy makes it worth it.
