Agatha Christie’s The Murder at the Vicarage
“Intuition is like reading a word without having to spell it out. A child can’t do that because it has had so little experience. A grown-up person knows the word because they’ve seen it often before.”
The Queen of Mystery, Agatha Christie, wrote The Murder at the Vicarage as the first of the Miss Marple Mysteries. It is about a murder that takes place in (you guessed it) a vicarage and the community works together to solve the mystery. I hadn’t read any Agatha Christie in a long time and this was the perfect vacation read to get me hooked on a small town mystery story.
