The Girl on the Train

Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train

“The holes in your life are permanent. You have to grow around them, like tree roots around concrete; you mould yourself through the gaps.”

The Girl on the Train was one of the most successful and popular books of 2015. In fact, this novel was the fastest growing adult novel in history. I have heard several mixed reviews, but I loved The Girl on the Train. If you liked Gone Girl, I think this is even better. The plot twists and turns and is told through several perspectives which draws out anticipation as each character tells their side of the story. I really enjoyed this read.
