Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood
“Things like that happen all the time in this great big world of ours. It’s like taking a boat out on a beautiful lake on a beautiful day and thinking both the sky and the lake are beautiful. So stop eating yourself up alive. Things will go where they’re supposed to go if you just let them take their natural course.”
You have to read this book. I highlighted so many parts of this book it was tough to chose just one quote to share. It is a dark and tragic story that leaves you with so many questions and ideas that I think I will be thinking of this book forever, knowing I will never really be able to figure it out. I am definitely going to read more of Murakami’s books after falling in love with this one.
