Never Let Me Go

Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go

“It was like when you make a move in chess and just as you take your finger off the piece, you see the mistake you’ve made, and there’s this panic because you don’t know yet the scale of disaster you’ve left yourself open to.”

Never Let Me Go reminded me a lot of Brave New World in that it is a society where a person is born into their circumstance and the rules and regulations that follow them are accepted because that’s the way their life has been planned. It is a moving story of love, loss, and acceptance.
