When I hear about economic growth these days, it’s all about China, China, China. All of this talk about China, made me curious about why China has been growing so successfully and where China is growing from. Evan Osnos’ book is written from the viewpoints of several people of varying levels of influence who are experiencing the changes in China in their everyday lives. I learned so much about random facets of life in China, and was engaged the entire 400 page book. China has an incredibly fascinating history and culture and this book does a great job at telling China’s story through the peoples’ lenses.
